What we do

Girish Jha is a life long student and mentor of Eastern wisdom traditions—including spirituality, yoga, mindfulness, Vedanta, tantra, and Buddhism with over 45-46 years of continuous teaching, coaching and guiding seekers from all walks of life. Based in Gilbert, Arizona, he is a meeting point for generations—from Silent Generation and Baby Boomers to Gen X, Millennials and Gen Z—who seek peace, purpose and transformation through authentic traditions of Vedanta, Yoga, Tantra, Samkhya, Buddhism and mindfulness. His work is rooted in the understanding that Eastern wisdom aims at self discovery: awakening to the real Self of the nature of permanent peace, happiness, love, truth and wisdom, and then living that insight in personal, professional, social and family life.

His work is rooted in the understanding that Eastern wisdom is a path of self discovery: awakening to the real Self—of the nature of permanent peace, happiness, love, truth, and wisdom—and then living that insight in personal, professional, social, and family life.

Approach and philosophy

Girish works from the understanding that real transformation must touch both the “left brain” and the “right brain” - rational clarity and experiential insight. He explains the teachings of Yoga, Vedanta, Tantra, Samkhya, Buddhism and Jainism in simple, modern language, while grounding them in scientific understanding of body, brain and mind.

His programs combine structured listening and learning (Satsang), contemplative questioning, guided practices and step by step application in daily life. The aim is to help people understand the mind, dissolve wrong notions and emotional reactivity, awaken inner wisdom and live from a stable center of peace, love and awareness.

His teaching style is simple, rational, compassionate and structured. He uses clear frameworks, contemplative inquiry, guided practices and direct dialogue to help people understand themselves deeply and apply Eastern wisdom in daily life rather than keeping it as theory alone.

what we do

Coach, Mentor and Guide

Those who work with him experience him as a high credibility coach and mentor in Eastern Wisdom: compassionate yet uncompromising about truth, precise in diagnosis, and skilled in designing practices that meet people exactly where they are. Whether guiding an individual seeker, training professionals, or advising institutions, he invites people to use every event and relationship in life as a field for awakening wisdom - what he calls Joy of Conscious Living.

Trained both as a scientist and as a traditional disciple, Girish holds degrees in science, yoga and the science of living, along with diplomas in naturopathy and allied healing. For more than twenty years he studied under Himalayan and other masters in the Master-Disciple Tradition, reading and contemplating the Vedas, Upanishads, Yoga Sutras, Gita, Tantra, Buddhist and Jain texts while working full time in modern institutions. This double life - laboratory and ashram, ministry office and meditation hall - shaped his ability to speak about subtle truths in language that executives, doctors, students, soldiers and sceptics can all understand.

Now based in the USA and working globally, he offers one to one coaching in Eastern wisdom, small group journeys for sincere seekers and professionals, and tailored programs for organizations in corporate, educational, clinical, military, and community sectors. Whether the context is a boardroom, classroom, correctional facility, or meditation retreat, his intention is constant: to help people explore, experiment, experience, enlighten, and enjoy—discovering that peace, happiness, and love are not future goals but the nature of their own real Self.

Girish Jha is a teacher, mentor, and program designer in Eastern wisdom traditions—including spirituality, yoga, mindfulness, tantra, and Buddhism—devoted to one purpose: helping people move from stress and inner conflict to clarity, steadiness, and joyful living. For more than four decades (and as a lifelong practitioner), he has translated timeless contemplative insight into clear, step-by-step practices that fit the realities of modern life. He has guided more than 60,000 people worldwide—executives, educators, students, healthcare professionals, diplomats, and security, military and government personnel—through programs that strengthen resilience, deepen self-understanding, awakened state that helps seeker to think, speak and work from permanent happiness, love, truth , and wisdom and restore a lived sense of wellbeing in personal, professional, social and family lives.

Education formal to informal master-disciple tradition and Lineage

Girish's background combines rigorous scientific education with traditional master-disciple training. He holds:

  • A B.Sc. from the University of Delhi.
  • Diplomas in yoga, naturopathy, and allied healing and research applications

Grounded in the master-disciple tradition and informed by modern instructional design, he distilled his experience into a practical framework often described as the New Paradigm of Living—an approach that helps people apply Eastern wisdom not as theory, but as a way of living, deciding, relating, and working. Today he continues to teach, mentor, and write curricula and program content for institutions and communities in the U.S. and internationally, inviting people to discover what he calls Joy of Conscious Living: using everyday life as the path of transformation.

Alongside this, for more than 26 years he has studied in the Master-Disciple Tradition with Himalayan and other masters such as Swami Dhirendra Brahmachari, Swami Laxman Das Avadhoot, Swami Gitananda Giri, Swami Asangananda, and several other respected teachers in Vedanta, Tantra, Jain and Buddhist traditions. This free progress learning involved daily reading, explanation, contemplation and practice of Vedas, Upanishads, Yoga Sutras, Gita, Tantra, Buddhist and Jain texts and related literature.

He often describes his early career as a “double life”—laboratory and Monastery, Government office and meditation hall—which shaped his ability to speak about subtle truths in language that executives, doctors, students, soldiers, and skeptics can all understand.
